SEO, also known as positioning, includes website optimization and other marketing activities related to adapting to Google guidelines those factors that affect the position ranking in the SERP ( Search Engine Result Page ). Indexing
Once a page is found, the bot fetches (and/or renders) it. Algorithms automatically decide which of those sites to index. The bot organizes this content into categories, including images, CSS and HTML , text and keywords, etc., which allows it to understand the content of the web page. It then stores this information in an index.

Ranking
In the final step, search engines crawl the index and return the most relevant search results for each query. Google uses a series of algorithms to determine positioning in search results.
