Social media management for tourist accommodation has opened up a wide range of possibilities focused on marketing and direct communication with travelers who are better connected to new technologies.

Because we are geeks and we love social media, we have compiled a set of social networks that we consider essential for any type of tourist accommodation. We will discuss the list of georgia consumer email possibilities and benefits that they can offer to your strategy of attracting traffic and making “friends” who become reservations. (What we really like)

Let's get started!

Facebook: Fanpage, groups and ads
Facebook is one of the essential social networks in our communication strategy. A large percentage of travelers use Facebook as one of their main social networks and this fact allows us to address them through regular publications and being available in the messenger chat.

Hosting features.
We start from the accommodation's Fanpage or Facebook Page by creating a page that should be focused on sharing content that puts travelers in the spotlight, be a channel to our website (direct booking) and offer a quick and close contact to both potential clients and those who will soon be. Given Facebook's policy regarding paid ads, if we want to make sure we reach all our followers, and attract new ones, we will have to bet on correctly segmented paid advertising. (This is where you have to pull out your checkbook to gain visibility)

In addition to a hosting strategy such as a Facebook page, we can also target groups already created on this social network that can be frequented by our “target” traveler. Launching content that generates value for these customer profiles will be our main asset, without being heavy or cheesy of course hehe…

Twitter: Profile, comments and hashtags
Twitter is moving towards a user profile that seeks to stay informed about their interests as well as creating a direct conversation with those who can help them meet their needs (although they don't like being bothered by noise). Along these lines, tourist accommodations can take advantage of this opportunity to expand their marketing and communication strategy.
