In this installment of our HelpDesk, a member of our team answers a frequently asked question about placing a registration form on your site to allow people to provide some information and become a member without being asked for payment information.

Often you don't want your visitors' first interaction to be a purchase. You just want to add them to a mailing list or allow them to view a page or two of sample content.

This article will walk you through the steps to create a new member by collecting minimal information from them, such as an email address, and then directing them to protected content.

Simple Signup preguntó:

"We have content that we want to keep semi-protected for our small group participants. Can we just provide a form for them to sign up and set a password without having to pay?"

Joshua de MemberMouse respondió:

"Indeed, you can create a minimal free registration form exactly as you describe, and we have documentation on the entire process for doing so . I'll provide the steps below as well.

In general, you'll want to use the list of bahrain consumer email free membership you already have, or crear uno nuevo and then secure the desired content with it. From there, create your signup form using a SmartTag form snippet I'll provide you with, and you're done. Your members can add their name, email, and password, and get access to the desired content.

Before I give you the code to place this form anywhere on your site, I want to let you know that there are two ways to use signup forms in MemberMouse, and both can be present on your site at the same time.

En primer lugar, el Main Checkout Page is created when you install MemberMouse and can act as the main registration page for free or paid products. When the purchase link for a free membership level is inserted on a page and a new customer clicks on it, they are redirected to the checkout page. Since the checkout page is dynamic, only the account information section is displayed, and by default the first and last name, email, password, and phone number are collected. (The first and last name, and phone number fields are optional and puede ocultarse .) The other sections, such as card details and billing and shipping addresses, are hidden as they are not required for free registration.

Then the second form is the one you are asking about, a free membership form to sign up free members, and this is simply a very minimal payment form. This payment form can be embedded into a page or created as its own page.
